Creator Agreement

1. When this applies

This Creator Agreement applies when you create or publish lessons or prompts ("Creator Content") on SkillKnex. It is in addition to our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines; if there is a conflict on a creator-specific point, this Agreement applies.

2. You own your content

You keep ownership of your Creator Content. You are responsible for it, including making sure you have the rights to publish it.

3. The licence you grant us

You grant SkillKnex Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, re-encode, adapt (for example to create transcripts, captions, translations, previews, and thumbnails), publish, display, distribute, and promote your Creator Content in order to operate, improve, and market the Service across the app, website, and SkillKnex channels.

This licence lasts while your Creator Content is on the Service. When you remove Creator Content, or we remove it, public display stops in line with the product controls and our content lifecycle rules. We may still keep backups, audit records, safety records, and copies needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.

For lessons, the licence also permits processing transcripts and lesson metadata into structured knowledge, summaries, concepts, questions, action descriptions and search representations to operate SkillKnex lesson discovery and Lesson Intelligence. We may use contracted processing providers for these tasks. You retain ownership; this permission does not transfer ownership of your lesson.

Internal extraction and review may take place before publication. Learner-facing use remains subject to publication, safety and feature-release controls. Generated material may contain errors and must not be treated as your independent endorsement of an AI answer. Removing or restricting the source lesson must also be respected by its retrieval and generated representations, subject to the retention exceptions above.

Translated or dubbed playback is not currently offered. Any future voice-replication or translated-audio feature will require its own applicable permissions and quality controls before release.

The lesson-processing licence expressly includes AI normalisation, splitting content into evidence-linked chunks, creating numerical search representations (embeddings), indexing, and generating grounded summaries, answers, action steps and recommendations. There is no separate per-lesson AI opt-in for these uses under the applicable Terms. Feature availability, source eligibility and privacy controls still apply.

When grounded lesson answers are released, they must identify the supporting lesson and Knowledge Builder through an accessible source reference, with a link where the recipient is authorised to view it. AI wording must be distinguished from the original lesson. Attribution does not imply that the creator authored or endorsed the generated answer, and does not transfer ownership of the source content.

SkillKnex does not authorise processing providers to use Creator Content or learner prompts to train their own models. Processing must use arrangements consistent with this restriction; a provider whose applicable terms do not support it must not receive that content for this purpose.

4. What you promise about your content

You confirm that, for all Creator Content you publish:

• it is your original work, or you have all rights, licences, and permissions needed to publish it and to grant the licence in Section 3;
• it does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• you have the consent of any identifiable people shown (and you will not include children without the consent of their parent/guardian);
• it is accurate and not misleading, and it meets the educational standard in Section 6; and
• it complies with our Community Guidelines and applicable law.

5. Professional credentials and verification

If you claim a profession or apply for professional ("Tier 2") verification, for example medical, nursing, legal, financial, accounting, therapy, teaching, or business, you confirm that:

• the credential, regulator, jurisdiction, and reference you give are accurate, current, and verifiable on the relevant public register;
• you are authorised to practise and in good standing; and
• you will tell us promptly if your status changes, lapses, or is suspended.

A "verified" badge means we checked a credential reference against a public register. It is not an endorsement by SkillKnex of you or your content, and it does not create a professional relationship between you and any user. You must not provide individualised professional advice through SkillKnex, and you should include appropriate disclaimers (see the Educational & Professional-Advice Disclaimer).

We may decline, suspend, or revoke verification, and remove related claims, if we cannot verify a credential, if it lapses, or if there is a policy or safety concern.

6. Content standards for creators

Creator Content must be genuinely educational. It must not primarily advertise, promote or sell a specific product, project, service, brand, token, investment or item. You may identify a practical tool or item where it is reasonably needed for the lesson, provided the lesson remains educational and any commercial relationship is disclosed through the in-app controls. AI-generated or materially edited media must be disclosed. See the Terms of Service.

7. Moderation, removal, and revocation

We may review, restrict, retire, or remove Creator Content, and suspend or revoke creator status or verification, if we reasonably believe there is a breach of this Agreement, our policies, or the law, or a risk to users. Removals are tiered, and some are not recoverable. We will give notice and a reason where we reasonably can. You may appeal as set out in the Community Guidelines.

8. Rewards and payment

Creators may earn SKX for eligible activity under the Virtual Currency Terms. SKX has no monetary value and is not currently redeemable for cash.

Cash payouts to creators are not available at this time. If we enable payouts in future, they will be subject to separate payout terms, identity and tax checks (KYC), eligibility thresholds, and a third-party payment provider. We may adjust, hold, or reverse rewards in line with the Virtual Currency Terms and our anti-fraud and review processes.

9. Your relationship with us

You publish as an independent creator. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between you and SkillKnex. You are responsible for your own tax and any regulatory obligations connected with your content or profession.

10. Your responsibility for claims

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for, and will cover, losses or claims we reasonably incur arising from your Creator Content or your breach of this Agreement or the law, for example a claim that your content infringes someone's rights, or that a professional claim was inaccurate. This does not apply to the extent the loss results from our own breach or negligence.

11. Ending creator status

You can stop publishing and remove your Creator Content using the available product controls. We may end or suspend your creator status for breach of this Agreement or our policies. Ending creator status does not remove records or copies we are allowed or required to keep under Section 3.
