What it means
I Did This means you actually tried the action from the lesson. It is not the same as a like.
It powers your Do streak, completed lessons, follow-up check-ins, weekly rank, challenges, tracks, certificates, Account Health, and future reward systems.
The short undo window
After the first tap, SkillKnex starts an undo countdown. The seconds shown on that countdown are the window for your action. There is not one fixed duration for every account: the standard window is configurable, and an eligible Extended Undo can make it longer.
This exists because action proof matters. If you tapped by mistake, Undo cancels it before the server records the action.
When it confirms
- If the countdown ends, the action is recorded.
- If you tap I Did This again while the countdown is running, it confirms immediately.
- If you tap the banner outside Undo, it confirms immediately.
- If you swipe away to another lesson while the countdown is running, SkillKnex commits it quietly so progress is not lost.
What happens after confirmation
Wait for confirmation that the action was saved. Your learning progress and eligible follow-up processing can then update. Some results arrive after the initial save, so a rank or reward is not guaranteed to change immediately.
Next, return to Learning to find your completed lesson and any due Action check-ins or Spaced Review. You do not need to tap I Did This repeatedly to make background updates finish.
The action record is permanent. This is why the app gives you the undo window before saving it.
