XP and Levels

What XP is, how it is different from SKX, and how you earn it.

What XP is

XP is your reputation and progress on SkillKnex. It reflects consistent, quality learning over time.

XP is not spendable and has no cash value. It powers your level, badges, ranking, and the features you can unlock.

XP is not SKX

SKX is a credit you spend. XP is status you build. Because they are separate, XP can stay generous and motivational while SKX is capped and controlled.

How you earn XP

XP rewards deeper actions rather than every tap. Just watching a lesson earns no XP.

Submit an Action Proof that passes review.

Win a challenge.

Complete a track.

Earn a skill certificate.

Reach streak milestones, and take your first action in a new category.

XP for Knowledge Builders (creators)

Knowledge Builders (creators) also build XP as their lessons drive real outcomes, such as approved proofs on their lessons, completed tracks, strong lesson impact, and certificates issued from their content.

Levels and unlocks

As your XP grows you move up levels. Learners and Knowledge Builders (creators) have their own level tracks.

Higher levels can unlock features and Knowledge Builder (creator) privileges, such as faster review or access to private and paid tracks at certain levels.

Your level and weekly rank show on your Profile.

About the thresholds

Level thresholds and names are set by SkillKnex and can change, so this page does not list fixed XP numbers.
