What credentials are

Professional Credentials are reviewed badges for Knowledge Builders (creators) who teach in areas where qualifications matter.

They are useful for categories like Law and Your Rights, Health and Body, Money and Finance, and other regulated or high-trust topics.

Where to submit

1. Open Create.
2. Open Professional Credentials.
3. If creator verification is required, complete it before submitting a professional credential.
4. Choose the category the credential applies to.
5. Enter your profession type, regulator, jurisdiction, credential reference, and badge display label. Add a public register URL when available.
6. Submit it for review.

Lawyers, nurses, doctors, and other professionals

Use your actual profession, the regulator or licensing body responsible for it, and the jurisdiction where the credential applies. A lawyer, nurse, and doctor each use their own relevant professional register or regulator reference.

The credential reference should identify the registration reviewers can verify. The badge label should describe that credential accurately, not imply qualifications or jurisdictions you do not hold.

This form collects professional registration details, not patient records, client files, or confidential case information. Do not put those details in the form or a linked page.

What reviewers check

Reviewers verify the public register or regulator reference. SkillKnex does not need private documents for this flow.

If the credential is approved, it can appear as a badge on your profile and near your Knowledge Builder (creator) identity.

If it is rejected

A rejected credential should explain what needs correction. You can update the details and resubmit through the same review thread.

Pending and rejected submissions can be edited. Approved, expired, and revoked credentials cannot be edited through that same form. Use Review Center or support if the reviewed details need attention.

Credentials can also expire or be revoked if the public status changes or if the badge no longer matches the Knowledge Builder (creator).

Important safety note

A credential badge helps learners understand your background. It does not let any Knowledge Builder (creator) bypass content rules, disclaimers, or review standards.
