What a prompt should do
A SkillKnex prompt should help someone get a useful output from an AI tool. It should be practical, reusable, and clear enough for a learner to try without guessing.
Prompts can live in Explore, Learning, playlists, or tracks. When a prompt is required inside a track, using it can count toward track progress.
What to include
- Give the prompt a clear title.
- Choose the best category and difficulty level.
- Write the prompt text exactly as the learner should use it.
- Add notes that explain when to use it and what to change.
- Add a sample output when available so learners understand the expected result.
- Submit it for review when it is ready.
Good prompt behaviour
A good prompt tells the AI its role, the task, the context, the format, and any limits.
If the prompt handles sensitive topics like money, law, health, personal data, or work documents, explain what the learner should not paste into an AI tool.
Prompt action
When a learner opens a prompt, the prompt action records that they used it. This is different from I Did This on lessons, but it still helps Learning, tracks, playlists, and certificates understand progress.
