Edit a Published Lesson

What you can change after publishing, and when you need a reviewed replacement.

Make a small correction

These live-lesson changes do not require another content review. They do not unlock the lesson slides or its action step.

  1. Open your content in Create and select the lesson.
  2. For a live lesson, edit its title, thumbnail, tags, or download permission.
  3. Tap Save and wait for confirmation before leaving.

Change the teaching content

Published slides cannot be edited in place. The description, category, language, difficulty, and action step are also not editable through the live-lesson editor.

If the teaching content needs correction, use the reviewed replacement process described in Supersede a Lesson. Do not use a title edit to present the old slides as different teaching content.

Drafts and lessons under review

A lesson that has not been published can be edited in the builder while it is a draft or rejected. Read the rejection feedback before submitting again.

A lesson under review cannot be edited. In your content list, swipe its row and choose Withdraw to return it to a draft before making changes.

Archived lessons cannot be opened for editing. Use the available Restore or New lesson action instead.
