Send a useful request
Requests are reviewed before creators see them. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a creator will make a lesson or promise a delivery date. Avoid including private personal information.
- Open Request a lesson in the app.
- Describe what you want to learn or do. Add optional detail about your goal or what confused you.
- Choose a category, skill level, or region if helpful. Use Not sure or Global when appropriate.
- Check any similar requests suggested before submitting. Choose I need this too to support an existing request, or Create a new request anyway if yours is different.
- Submit and wait for confirmation. Open View my requests to find it again.
Votes, following, and progress
I need this too records demand for an existing request. Following a request is separate: it lets you receive an update when the request is answered.
When you create a request, the app confirms that you will get an inbox update when an answering lesson goes live. When joining another request, check whether you also chose to follow it.
Open the request to see its progress. It can be under review, planned, in progress, or answered. When an answer is available, use Watch lesson.
Answer as a creator
- Open a lesson request from the creator requests area.
- Read the request and any context. If Create lesson is available, use it to start a linked lesson draft.
- Build a lesson that answers the request and gives the learner a practical action step.
- Submit the lesson through the normal review process. A draft alone is not a published answer.
